Kramer earns Eagle Scout with a memorial to Grandpa

Kasey Kramer felt it was fate when he heard River Oaks was in need of someone to help replace their fallen flagpole. Kramer, a member of Ft. Branch Boy Scout Troop 242, was looking for an Eagle Scout project when he heard of the task. His grandfather had been a resident at the health campus and Kramer felt it was important to pick this particular project.

As the last of the residents are helped out of the dining area, the atmosphere is charged with excitement. The staff at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville rush to clean up the aftermath of lunch and decorate the room in platinum to celebrate the 70th wedding anniversary of Eva Lena and Tarrell Thompson.


Owensville discusses mowing at town meeting 

On Thursday, Owensville’s Town Council members met up for a special meeting to discuss hiring someone to take care of mowing the grass around town.

Ambulance Service in Owensville and Business Feature

Gibson County EMS Director Dan Alvey repeatedly assured Owensville residents the county was not removing an ambulance from their community during the Tuesday county council meeting at Town Hall. Several Owensville residents attended the meeting to express concern about the ambulance service leaving their town.
